OpenTX Version 2.2Provided here is a description of some of the features of OpenTX I addressed when upgrading my Taranis X9D+from version 2.1 to version 2.2. Refer to the opentx-org OpenTX V2.2.0 page here for more details.
SD CardThe contents of the SD card had to be replaced with the V2.2 files. I formatted my SD card and loaded the V2.2 files from here. Text FilesI then had to transfer all the text files I created from where I backed them up on my PC to the SD Card folder “[MODELS]”. These files are displayed when a model starts up. Refer here. Audio FilesI then had to transfer all the audio files I created from where I had backed them up on my PC to the SD Card folder “[SOUNDS]\[en]”. Refer here. Lua scriptsI also had to copy the mixer LUA script files I use from where I had backed them up on my PC to the SD Card folder “[SCRIPTS]\[MIXES]”. - For Airfield Boundary Alarms, refer here. - For ‘Flight Deck’ autopilot telemetry display, refer here. Lua ScriptsLua script file names must now be six characters long, or less. (They used to be up to eight.) (I had to change “varmsbdr2.lua” to “vbdr2.lua” to make it work in OpenTX V2.2. Refer here) S6R Receiver CalibrationThe S6R Receiver calibration lua script works now. (Faulty in V2.1!) Navigate to the SD CARD screen. In the folder [S6R], select the file “S6R_Calibrate.lua”. Press Enter LP and from the menu select Execute. The following text is displayed. |
Follow the
instructions to calibrate the S6R receiver.
