Trainer Set Up with a Spektrum DX7 as a Slave
Set up the Taranis in training mode as a master with a Spektrum DX7 as a slave.
The Spektrum DX7 and Taranis X9D are set up to provide full control of throttle, aileron, elevator and rudder when the switch SH (spring return switch) is down. Audio files announce ‘Your plane’ when the student is in control and ‘My plane’ when the trainer is in control.

Move the DX7 sticks to their limits and ensure the direction is correct. Change the percentage to –100 if the channel is reversed. Adjust the Multiplier value so that the channel values have a range of –100 to +100, approximately.
This configuration applies to all models because it is a radio configuration, not a model configuration.

With switch SH up, confirm that the Taranis sticks control the channels and the other controls work as expected. Note that the ranges are affected by the Taranis inputs, mixer, servos and special functions screen features.
