OpenTX Reference Guide 8 Curves

Custom curves are used in the Inputs and the Mixer. The curve options in the Inputs and the Mixer are Diff, Expo, Func and Cstm. The parameters for a Diff, Exp or Func curve are set up in the Inputs or the Mixer screen. However, if you select a Cstm (Custom) curve there, the custom curve is set up here in the Curves screen.

Curve List

On the Curves main screen, each line is a summary of one of the curves. There are 32 curves available. Each line has the following format.

The image of the highlighted graph is displayed.

 

Editing a Curve

To edit a curve, use the + and - buttons to highlight the required curve number, then press ENT. The Curve editing screen is shown.

 

 

On the Curve editing screen, use the + and - buttons to move the highlight from one parameter to the next. Press ENT to edit the parameter. The fields are described here.

Maximum 6 characters.

Text description of the curve.

Type

Standard

 

 

Custom

On a Standard type, the X points are not editable. They are automatically selected, evenly spaced, when the number of points is chosen.

On a Custom type, the X points can be edited as well as the Y points.

Count

Range is from 2 to 17 points.

The number of points that define the curve.

The default is 5 points.

Smooth

If the box is not checked, a straight line is used between points.

If the box is checked, a spline (smooth curve) is created along all the points.

pt

Range is from 1 to 17.

Point number.

X

Range is from 100 to +100.

X axis coordinate values.

Y

Range is from 100 to +100.

Y axis coordinate values.

 

Press Exit to complete editing.
